1. One Mile Beach, NSW
Pack up your things kids, because we’re headed for a little hidden gem called Port Stephens! A few hours north of Sydney, One Mile Beach is the kind of spot that holiday makers return to every year and it’s easy to see why. Its home to the Southern hemisphere’s largest sand dunes, a huge population of humpback whales and more family fun than you can handle! Camel riding at sunset is a must, while go-karting and sand boarding are popular with the kids. For family friendly accommodation, check into the Middle Rock Holiday Resort. Their self-contained units are perfect for a family of four. The resort boasts three pools, a waterslide and brand new jumping pillows. Chances are it’ll be hard to get the kids to leave!
