A Disney Cruise is already packed with enchanting activities and magical moments, but if you’re looking for an extra layer of fun and excitement, why not add a scavenger hunt to your trip? What is a Disney Cruise Scavenger Hunt?

A scavenger hunt involves searching for specific items around the cruise ship. It’s an engaging way to explore every corner of your Disney cruise, meet new people, and enjoy some interactive fun.

There are countless hidden gems (and hidden Mickey’s) and unique spots on a Disney Cruise, making it the perfect setting for a scavenger hunt.

And even better, for a photo scavenger hunt too, where you take photos of the items on the list instead. This is a great way to capture some special memories of your cruise experience.

Adding Scavenger Hunt Cards to Your Fish Extender Gifts

ish Extenders are a popular tradition on Disney Cruises, where families exchange small gifts by hanging decorative pockets outside their staterooms where the gifts are placed.

Including a scavenger hunt as part of your Fish Extender gift can be a fun activity for fellow cruisers. It’s an interactive gift that encourages families to explore the ship and engage in some friendly competition too.

The families in our fish extender group all said they loved them and had a lot of fun ticking everything off. We did it ourselves too!

How To Print The Scavenger Hunt Cards

I have included both high-resolution image files and PDF files for the scavenger hunt cards, in the standard 4×6 photo size.

You can either print them at home on your computer using either format, using photo paper or 4×6 cardstock. I used matte photo paper.

Or you can print them via your local (or online) photo lab as you would with photographs.

There are also PNG versions of 2 to a page in case you want mini scavenger hunt cards.

How To Use Your Disney Cruise Scavenger Hunt

As a fish extender gift: Print a copy for each cabin in your FE group and pop them in their pockets on the first day — they make a brilliant interactive gift that keeps kids busy across the whole cruise.

As a family activity: Download both versions and let the kids tackle the standard hunt while teens or adults take on the photo challenge. A small prize for whoever finishes first goes a long way.

Timing tip: Start on day two once everyone has found their sea legs and explored the ship a little — it makes the hunt much more doable and enjoyable.
