It only took one night at Paradise Resort to know how amazing it was and how much we can’t wait to stay again. Big call but so true! Let me tell you why…
This place is designed for families! Right from check in I was impressed. In the hotel lobby was a massive indoor playground. Wow! The kids were going to love that (and they did)!
Our room was comfortable and exactly as we needed. There was enough room for luggage and for the kids to move about. Always a bonus.
But it was the small touches around the Resort that stood out. Paradise Resort is so family friendly in every little thing, right down to having a small step in the bathroom to make it easier to brush their teeth.
Now for the really fun stuff… like the name suggests, Paradise Resort is essentially a paradise for kids! From swimming pools & water slides to playgrounds and the awesome kids club. So much fun, you don’t even need to leave the resort!
Ignore the thumb in the photo… for some reason I do that too often with my iphone 6 haha oops.
Each child staying at Paradise Resort gets a complimentary kids club session per day. While this is super fun for the kids, with age appropriate zones and activities, it’s also chill time for the parents so you can attend a cocktail tasting at the pool bar or just enjoy some adult company for a while.
But of course, even the adults will have fun with the pool, spa and water parks. There’s a water playground aimed for younger kids from 4 and up, with slides and a tipping bucket. Totally didn’t see the bucket on our visit so my 1 year old and I got a huge surprise. Oops.
There’s also an older kids water play zone with bigger slides and so much fun to be had.
But if they do drag themselves from the water, there’s a trampoline, playgrounds and even a giant inflatable slide set up for entertainment. Perhaps ice skating is your style? They’ve got that too! Oh and a game zone too with some fun arcade games and air hockey.
And of course even the staff are about fun and creating a great atmosphere for visiting families.
This is all the way through the resort, including the restaurant staff. When we went for dinner and breakfast at the main restaurant during our stay, it was a wonderful experience with the attention the staff gave our kids. High fives & silly faces included.
Yet another of the small touches is how the restaurant is set up for family diners. Colouring books & crayons at each kid setting along with plastic cups and kid cutlery. Once again, the little things make a big difference!
Overall, we adored our experience at Paradise Resort Gold Coast and cannot wait to visit again soon! This will be our first choice staying on the Gold Coast with our kids from now on.
We were guests of Gold Coast Tourism at Paradise Resort only for one night while researching local activities and attractions for an article, and therefore our accommodation at this time was gratis. However the Resort is very reasonably priced and you can often get a great package deal several times during the year.
Check out some great ideas from our collaboration, for visiting Gold Coast with kids under 3.
I also apologise for the terrible photos. Our purpose for this stay wasn’t to review the accommodation and with our crazy busy schedule, I didn’t even have a chance to get many pics… and the ones I did get were kind of awful!! Epic photo fail!
